Beauvais, France — As part of ISF’s mission to connect the seed sector with future generations, Ben Rivoire, ISF Sustainability and Crop Value Chain Manager, visited UniLaSalle Beauvais to meet students of the Erasmus Mundus Plant Breeding (emPLANT) Master’s program.

The session provided an overview of the global seed sector, from its innovation pipeline and sustainability goals to its role in ensuring food security. Students explored how international collaboration between academia and industry is essential to advance plant breeding and seed technology.
This engagement is part of ISF’s broader outreach to strengthen ties with educational and research institutions worldwide. The emPLANT program, which attracts students from all continents, plays a vital role in developing skilled professionals ready to tackle the challenges of future food systems.
