Berlin, Germany — For the third year in a row, ISF organized a side-event at Fruit Logistica, one of the biggest fruit, vegetables and floral exhibitions in the world, on 3-5 February. The event, hosted at the International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA) booth, highlighted how seed companies bring innovations that not only create value for the entire agri-food value chain, but also help build sustainable and resilient food systems.
Additionally, Eduard Fitó, Chair of the CG – Value Chain participated in an event organized by the Consumer Goods Forum (CGF), presenting the seed sector’s roadmap in the framework of sustainability standards discussions.
The ISF Coordination Group – Value Chain will issue advocacy and communication materials featuring innovative case stories that illustrate the benefits of improved varieties, including increased fresh produce shelf life, improved taste and nutrition, higher yields, and increased resistance to pests and diseases. #
