ISF Signs MoU with IAAS to Increase Youth Awareness about the Seed Sector

At the 68th Annual Congress of the International Association of Students in Agricultural and Related Sciences (IAAS), held at ETH Zurich, Switzerland, ISF reaffirmed its commitment to empowering future agricultural leaders. In front of 50 IAAS representatives from 25 countries, ISF and IAAS formalized their partnership with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

This agreement marks an important step forward in ISF’s engagement with the youth community, complementing other ongoing initiatives. The MoU highlights shared goals around advancing awareness of the seed sector’s role in sustainable agriculture and food systems, particularly among students of agricultural sciences.

Key areas of collaboration include mentorship programs, capacity-building opportunities, and closer engagement with seed companies, potentially opening doors for future leaders and managers in the agricultural sector to connect directly with the global seed industry.

On the sidelines of the event, ISF representatives also met with members of ETH Zurich’s World Food System Center, which brings together stakeholders across the food value chain to address global challenges in food and nutrition security, environmental health, and social well-being.

More updates on the collaboration and upcoming initiatives will be shared in the coming months. For more information on this parternship, please contact Ben Rivoire.
